Belly Ring

On July 3, 2013 was the day I got my belly button pierced. As I walked into the store with my mother, the nerves started to get to me. After we filled out all the correct paper work and picked out the ring, it was time to go back. I raised my shirt up, and he did all the measurements for it. It was time to lay down and get it pierced, thats when the nerves really hit you the most, and you’re just thinking “oh no, oh no, what if he messes up, what it hurts” and all the other usual doubts. But my thoughts distracted me for when I did get it pierced, for I only felt a slight pinch. After I got it pierced I was pretty much worry free, but as for my mother..well all I can say for her is she was excited (you would have thought she was the one who got it pierced), as in jumping and down, clapping excited. When it was finally time to leave and the guy was talking about the care he started to mention how other times when he pierced the skin was sometimes tougher. I remember him saying exactly this ” that was smooth as butter, last week I pierced a girl who was tougher than leather”. After this we left. That is my piercing story.
