Piercings

Throughout my teenage years, I had such an overwhelming urge to do all of my own piercings. At random and wherever on my body, that I felt like sticking a needle through at the time. I even did a number of friend’s piercings, too.
I have, to be honest… We never had proper piercing equipment so I REALLY don’t recommend piercing your friends with random objects. I pierced a nipple on two separate friends. One (male) with a safety pin and the other (female) with a sewing needle. Both were a nightmare. It looked very painful for them. Back in the day, though, none of us stubborn young teenagers were going to let any of that show or phase us. I must say, we were reasonably tough, all things considered. Lol. After that, I assisted in piercing a girlfriend’s nose, bellybutton, and eyebrow. All in one night, too. I didn’t recommend it, even from the start. For one, it was with what looked and felt like a kind of rusty nail. For two, she was wanting multiple piercings with just that one nail. And for three, we were not anywhere even remotely sanitary. I did her nose first. She was adamant on all of them. I refused to do the other two piercings for her because of my opinions on the whole situation from the beginning. Like I said, though, she was DEAD SET on getting them. She tried for a moment to line up her bellybutton herself but that was horrific to watch so one of our guy friend’s took over. He ended up doing her belly and eyebrow. About this only thing I assisted with on those last two piercings was helping to hold her belly button and eyebrow in a good position so he could get the thing through. I couldn’t bare to watch them crudely try and go at it so I agreed to help. I stayed by her side and held her hand for support while he took the nail out to put the actual jewelry in. And then, of course, I also helped clean her up after the piercings were done because she was bleeding a bit. Especially after having to take the whole nail out to shove in the actual jewelry. Yikes… That had to be the worst ghetto-at-home piercing session that I’ve ever witnessed or been in.

There are at least one or two other “at-home” piercings that I helped with/was there for but the other ones are a bit hazy. Was a long time ago
