When I turned 18, I decided I would go get my nose pierced. I was living in a small college town and there was only one place that I could get it done at. It was a shading, dark, seemingly dirty and poorly run tattoo parlor. The lady that did the piercing didn’t really seem like she knew a whole lot about what she was doing. She got me prepped and proceeded to push the needle through my nose. She seemed to be having some trouble and about half way through, she stopped and made a point to tell me, “you have thick nose!” Thanks. So then she somehow managed to get the needle pushed all the way through. My eyes were watering and my nose was throbbing. It would have been so much better if she just had not stopped. But all is well, and it looks fine and I had no problem with the healing.
