A few years ago my family went out of town for the holidays, we went to see my grandparents in South Carolina. All of my family was there and of course I was a few years younger than my cousins that had tattoos and piercings I was only 16 but I really wanted a tongue ring but since I was only 16 and I knew my parents wouldn’t let me I decided I can at least hide a belly button piercing. So while we were on vacation my cousins and I went out for a movie and after the movies one of my older cousins said I want a tattoo so we headed over to the tattoo shop she ended up getting a tattoo on her foot my other cousin got a tattoo on the back of her neck. I was only 16 but luckily I was with my cousins that were over 21 and were able to be a “guardian” in the tattoo shop and my cousins knew that I wanted to get something pierced so my oldest cousin surprised me and paid for my belly button piercing. I was excited and nervous at the same time since they were both getting tattoos I had to get my belly button pierced with no one around me I was extremely nervous and afraid of the pain I sat down in the piercers chair, and began to ask a billion questions, does it hurt? How bad does it hurt on a scale of 1 to 10? LOL it was hilarious the piercer laughed and made me feel a lot more comfortable, he marked my stomach for placement and he was talking to me the whole time so I felt a sharp pinch but I wasn’t focused on him piercing me so it wasn’t to bad and on a scale of 1 to 10 its about a 4 not to bad. I absolutely love my belly ring and all of my other piercings.
