This story is about one of the stupidest and worse piercing you can ever try. I was 16 years old in high school young and dumb and really wanted my cartilage pierced. At that time the piercing gun was popular and pretty much the only way that piercings were done, but I was only 16 I didnt have a job and couldn’t afford a $80 helix piercing so what did I do take matters into my own hands. My best friend and I got adventurous we went to the fabric store and got some sewing needles to pierce me with. We also had to go and pick up a stud to put in the piercing. So when we finally got back to her house we sterilized the needles with boiling hot water and alcohol I dont even know if we sterilized it properly but we did what we thought was right. I laid down on her bed she marked my ear with a small sharpie and pierced me did it hurt yes! The needle was very thin and seemed like it wasnt strong enough to go through my cartilage she had to push and tug on my ear so hard it hurt like HELLLLLLLLLLL but she finally got it through and I put the stud in my ear was sore for weeks and it finally calmed down and healed fine after a while. I no longer have my piercings I had to take it for a job but I did enjoy it while I had it.

So a few weeks ago my a new tattoo shop had opened in town and they had piercing specials 2 for $90 any and all piercing which is a deal that I could not resist. I had no idea what I wanted to pierce at all but I wasn’t going to pass the deal up. I went down to the shop and I was talking to the piercer and some tattoo artist and they suggested getting a lip piercing. I figured that would be cute but I didnt know what else to pierce and another girl that was in there was getting spider bites and they were super cute but I wanted a ring on each end of my lip so I settled for the snake bites. The piercing itself wasn’t painful it was more the pressure of the clamps that was the worst part, but I love my snake bite piercings and I can’t wait to change my jewelry.

I can proudly say that I am pretty much pierced from head to toe. I had gotten bored with the typical body piercings and I really wanted something different. I really wanted my clavicle pierced as a surface piercing but I wanted to do something a bit more extreme. One of the bartenders that work with had just gotten two dermals on each side of her chest near her clavicle and I was in love with the look. I’d finally found what I wanted to get a chest full of dermals because nothing I do can be small. I had off on a Wednesday night off and I headed directly for the piercing studio. I have been dealing with my piercer for the past 6 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, when I told him what I wanted he almost flipped, but was excited to do it. I ended up getting 13 dermals going across my chest and I must say they have to be my favorite piercings yet. My next project is to put a tattoo around them.

My story is not the perfect piercing story its actually about a piercing gone wrong, terribly wrong. Here it goes… So I wanted to get a lip piercings and since most of my friends were getting snake bites I wanted to do something different. So I did my research on facial piercings and came across the medusa and the vertical labret. I decided on the vertical labret and it was then time to narrow down piercings studios I had two in mind but the night I wanted to get it done neither of them had availability and I really wanted it before I left town so my sister and I went to a local tattoo shop and figured they should be able to do it. I got to the shop sat in the back with the piercer and he seemed pretty nervous like he hadn’t done much piercing but long story short he pierced it. When I initially saw it, it looked crooked but he said that once the bleeding stops and it fully heals it will look straight so I went with it. After 3 weeks and my piercing was pretty much healed it was still leaning to the left. I understand this is a hard piercing to do but it was really off. So instead of changing the jewelry I took it out completely to let it heal. I went to the piercing studio that I originally wanted to go to 3 months later and got it re pierced and its PERFECT! I love my vertical labret now that its straight.

I had my belly button pierced for years and I wanted to to get another piercing I just didnt know what to get. So I was researching multiple belly button piercings and I came across a few ideas. I saw the double navel and fell in love. Before I went and got the piercings I called my local tattoo shop, spoke with the piercer and got all the details and they explained to me exactly how the piercings would be done. At the time I was pretty apprehensive about getting it because my work uniform would possibly interfere with the bottom piercing. Since the piercing is on the bottom the piercer told me I had to be extra careful not to get it caught on any clothing and to keep it from getting irritated. So I waited until my vacation time came around and I had a week off from work and I had plenty of time to get my piercing done. I went with my sister to get it done she wanted an industrial barbell so we decided to get pierced together. When I got to the tattoo shop I was pretty nervous, I didnt know what to expect but I did remember how badly my first navel piercing was and I just wanted to get it over with. So instead of letting my sister get pierced first I hoped up first and got it over with. I must say it was PAINFUL! and the healing process was NOT fun either it was way harder to take care of than my first belly button ring and it kept getting caught on all of my pants. Now that my piercing is healed I love it! Now Im thinking about doing the sides.

I am a very impatient person and I had my ears gauged to a 0 and wanted to get them bigger as fast as possible but that was not the wisest thing to do. One night I had a few too many alcoholic beverages and took a pair of dull rusty scissors and proceeded to stretch my ears. Well it actually worked but I ended up with an infection like no other. Thank god, I found a piercer that was willing to help me and tapered me right through the damage I had done and it took a lot of the pain away but now I have my ears gauged to about 20mm ear plug when that was nowhere how big I wanted to go and I guess that’s Karma, but I thought even its sooo embarrassing, you all would enjoy a good laugh today. Love y’all products keep up the rocking jewelry.

I’ve been into piercings for a very long time. When I was in middle school I pierced my tongue with a safety pen along with my eyebrow. My mother freaked out and make me take them out of course but that still didnt stop me from piercing. Since my mom clearly didnt want me to have any piercings in my face before I was in high school I decided I wanted to pierce my ear. I didnt just want a second hole I wanted to do something different. I wanted my helix pierced. I use to spend a lot of time at my grandmother’s house when I was younger and she was constantly sewing and buying new needles for her sewing projects. So my cousin an I had a brilliant idea, to pierce my helix ourselves. At the time the internet was not as popular as it is now there was no youtube that I could pull up a video and watch someone do it and copy them. The only thing I had to rely on is what I’ve seen before. So my cousin prepped the needle by sterilizing it while I sat with a piece of ice stuck to my ear to some what numb my ear from the pain. I sat up in the living room chair while my cousin took the needle and slowly guided it through my ear. I guess because the needle was so small it didnt really hurt at all. I took the stud from my ear lobe and bam it was over! Im now 32 and I still have my beautiful cartilage piercing. Each time I look at it, it reminds me of how much a rebel I was as a child.

I have always been a fan of tattoos and piercings. When I was in high school my parents were extremely strict and the only piercings I was allowed to have was in my ear. By the time I was in the 10th grade most of my friends had body piercings, one of my friends even had a tattoo on her lower back. I personally wanted my tongue pierced, but I didnt know how I would be able to hide it from my parent. My school had a field trip for one of the school clubs, it was a 3 day trip to Disney, so I figured if I went and got my tongue pierced right before by the time I got back the swelling should be gone for the most part. So the night before our trip to the magic kingdom, my friends and I went down to the piercing studio with my older sister of course so I could actually get the piercing. The piercer examined my tongue to make sure there were no major veins in the way she marked me and pierced me the actually piercing was pretty painful the pressure is what makes it bad. I purchased a retainer when I was at the shop in hopes to later change it after the swelling went down so that my mom or dad wouldnt notice the ring. I went on my trip which was horrible I couldnt eat anything it was extremely uncomfortable and the worse part is I was not able to change the ring before I got back. The second night I was home my mom I yawned at the dinner table and BOTH of my parents noticed my tongue ring, if it werent for my older sister telling them it wasnt that serious and its just a piercing I would have had to take it out. I’ve had my tongue ring for 4 years now and its still my favorite.

I got my first body piercing when I was in college my roommates and I got one nipple pierced and it was cool I had about 12 tattoos and love tattoos. I didnt really want any piercings in my face I thought about an eyebrow piercing but it really didnt grow on me that much to actually get it. I did see more and more students with the septum piercing and I kind of liked it. I consider myself a risk taker so I watched a few youtube videos and the piercing and how it was done and decided I was going to go and get it done. I didnt tell anyone I was going I went one night after studying on campus. I ended up at a tattoo shop down town. I spoke with the piercer and told her what I wanted, she had me fill out the paper work and sit down in her chair. When she put the clamps on my nose my eyes instantly began to water. I told her I’m not crying but I can’t help the water coming out of my eyes. Of course she had a few jokes but she knew it was from the clamps. When she put the needle through the watering got even worse ( I was warned about this on my research of youtube videos). The worse part about the piercing was the clamps those hurt more than the actual needle. My septum looks great I absolutely love it now. The next thing to do is the start stretching it.
